PART 1 – IELTS Speaking Test
The examiner asks the candidate about him/herself, his/her home, work or studies and other familiar topics.

- Which is more important to you, friends or family? [Why?’
PART 2 – IELTS Speaking Test
Describe a writer you would like to meet.
You should say:
- who the writer is
- what you know about this writer already
- what you would like to find out about him/her
and explain why you would like to meet this writer.
You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.
You have one minute to think about what you are going to say.
You can make some notes to help you if you wish.

- Are there any jobs where people need to read a lot? What are they?
- Do you think that reading novels is more interesting than reading factual books?
- Why is that?
