The format of IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 and 2 is as follows:
- IELTS Writing Task 1: You will be presented with a graph, chart, diagram, or table and you will be asked to describe and summarize the information in your own words in about 150 words.
- IELTS Writing Task 2: You will be given a topic and asked to write an essay in response, discussing both sides of the argument and expressing your own opinion. The essay should be at least 250 words.
Both tasks must be completed within 60 minutes.
